Ugly beauty, the Melbourne.

It’s almost half year went by since I left the city Melbourne. It’s quit hard to say how I feel about this. I mean leaving the city that I’m used to it and get start again in my hometown which, ironically, I barely know it for now.

Everything is so different here, the weather, how people do for their day and what the folks care. I was sort of like the term “fresh out of the boat", lost myself in the city that I should be familiar with.

Regardless of those awkward situation here, people love asking me about my days in Melbourne. They are so keen to make comments for this city which are, mostly, against my observation.

Melbourne is such a lovely city!! I love it so much!!!!

Someone.

Melbourne for me is like a sour candy, you never understand her if you only see here apperence. At the very begining, it didn’t give me a good first impression. Not mention the people here is super crazy and living cost is even higher than Sydney. Most important of all, why I my felt so bad is because of her unpreditable weather, it really drove me crazy. I couldn’t help but think does this city worth for its global-awards praise? Or it is just another overestimalted compliment?

That is the reason why I always give a thrown eyes when people trying to fantasize on Melbourne. There’s nothing only good for a person, nor does a city. Melbourne is not as pretty as their imagination. And I’m the dream breaker, here comes to crack your fantasy.

However, as I said Melbourne is not really as bad as hell, if you try to dig inside and be involve in it’s unique sub-culture. It’s way beyond interesting.

Lively music, indie-rock pub, iconic weekend market, artist around. That’s how I will describe this town.
